Each piece is crafted from a special blend of Armenian and Spanish clay, designed not only to decorate but also to provide a safe and cozy hiding place for your fish. Materials and Process:
I use a natural mix of Armenian and Spanish clays. Each shelter is fired twice:

• First firing at 1000°C — burning out all organic material to ensure the piece will not alter your water’s pH.

• Second firing with high-temperature glazes at 950–1000°C — the glazes become glass-like, sealing the surface safely.
  All glazes are food-safe, meaning they are completely safe for your aquatic life.

Important:

• My decorations will not change the pH of your aquarium water.

• Each piece is handmade, so slight variations make every item unique!
